SPRING BREAK 3/26 - 3/30

MECHS and Mission College will be closed for spring break March 26 through March 30.  Classes will resume on Monday, April 2.

We are excited to announce that Mission Early College High School has received accreditation from the following agency:

Accrediting Commission for Schools
Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC)
533 Airport Blvd., Suite 200, Burlingame, CA 94010

This outstanding achievement could not have been accomplished without the participation of our entire learning community - our parents, students, and staff.  The visiting committee recognized the great work being done by MECHS - together with our partner, Mission College - to provide an excellent education and pathway for our students to be college and career ready upon graduation.

Thank you to each and every person who gave of their time and energy to support this effort... it paid off!

If you are over the age of 18, or will be turning 18 soon, make sure you register to vote. Voting is the cornerstone of a democracy but sadly far too few people vote.  Voting is a civil right that citizens of many other countries wish they had. If you have ever wondered why you should vote, here are a few good reasons:

Vote because every election matters. Vote because the choices you will make matter. Vote because elections aren't simply about your representatives in Washington or who is president. ... When voters don't turn out to choose their local and state governments, they may receive a government that doesn't represent them.

Make a difference - Vote!
