Reporting an Absence
Parents or guardians are asked to notify the school by phone at (408) 855-5532 between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., or email cpmoran@scusd.net. In addition, parents can leave a voicemail after school hours. Please refer to the MECHS Handbook pg 29 for absence reporting procedures.
FREE/REDUCED LUNCH?
Does your student qualify for free or reduced price meals? If so, your student can eat for free! All students who qualify for free or reduced price meals eat at no cost.

Waitlist application available
Our application for admission for the 2023-24 school year has closed. However, our Waitlist Application is available for current 8th, 9th and 10th grade students. If a space should become open in one of our grade level cohorts prior to the start of the Summer Bridge Program on June 5, 2023, a waitlist applicant may have an opportunity to go through the admission process.

About Us
Mission Early College High School is an innovative dual enrollment program that blends high school and college, and provides students an exceptional opportunity to earn a high school diploma and up to two years of college credit or an Associate's Degree in three years or less. Students take three high school classes taught by SCUSD instructors on the Mission College campus, and up to 15 units of college classes each semester with all tuition fees waived by Mission College. Students only pay a nominal health fee of $20 each semester.
