    Parents or guardians are asked to notify the school by phone at (408) 855-5532 between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. In addition, parents can leave a voicemail after school hours. Please refer to the MECHS Handbook pg 28 for absence reporting procedures.


    All MECHS students are eligible to receive meals from SCUSD Child Nutrition Services. The meals are ordered daily in the MECHS office, and are delivered from the district appointed site prior to the MECHS lunch hour.


    Does your student qualify for free or reduced price meals?  If so, your student can eat for free!  All students who qualify for free or reduced price meals eat at no cost.



    We highly encourage you to prepay your student's meals online.  Click on the following website address

    or you can can just type in to prepay on your student's account. Please make sure you have your student's permanent ID number.  

    Friday, Dec. 14th, PANDA EXPRESS - junior class fundraiser

    We are excited to announce that the MECHS Junior Class Council is organizing a fundraiser at Panda Express's Mercado shopping center location on Friday, December 14, 2018, from 12 pm to 8 pm. We plan to use the funds raised to sponsor class and school activities alike.
    For every purchase made with the attached flyer, the Junior Class will receive 20% of the profits; you can print the document or show your cashier the digital version. If ordering online, you can also use our code (260499) to have your purchase counted.
    This date is the last day of Mission College's finals week and a college-free day for most; students, we hope you’ll take the opportunity to treat yourself for your hard work while also supporting the Junior Class.


    Kathryn Hughes has a great opportunity for high school students to earn community service hours. Kathryn Hughes Elementary is hosting a Winter Festival event this Friday, December 14th and needs as many high school volunteers as possible.

    SCHOOL CALENDAR CHANGE - 2nd semester begins Monday, January 7, 2019

    Mission Early College High School will be holding a regular school day after the holiday break on Monday, January 7th, 2019, for all students and staff.  Please be aware that although other Santa Clara Unified Schools will be closed for professional development on January 7th, high school classes will be in session at MECHS, so be sure to note this on your calendar.

    About Us

    Mission Early College High School is an innovative dual enrollment program that blends high school and college, and provides students an exceptional opportunity to earn a high school diploma and up to two years of college credit or an Associate's Degree in three years or less. Students take three high school classes taught by SCUSD instructors on the Mission College campus, and up to 15 units of college classes each semester with all tuition fees waived by Mission College. Students pay only a nominal health fee of $20 each semester.
