    Parents or guardians are asked to notify the school by phone at (408) 855-5532 between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. In addition, parents can leave a voicemail after school hours. Please refer to the MECHS Handbook pg 28 for absence reporting procedures.


    All MECHS students are eligible to receive meals from SCUSD Child Nutrition Services. The meals are ordered daily in the MECHS office, and are delivered from the district appointed site prior to the MECHS lunch hour.


    Does your student qualify for free or reduced price meals?  If so, your student can eat for free!  All students who qualify for free or reduced price meals eat at no cost.



    We highly encourage you to prepay your student's meals online.  Click on the following website address

    or you can can just type in to prepay on your student's account. Please make sure you have your student's permanent ID number.  

    Join Us at the PTSA Meeting, Tues., Sept. 11th

    Parents, guardians, and students - please join us at the PTSA meeting tomorrow, Tuesday, September 11, 2018, in the Gillmor Building, Room GC-334, at 6:00 p.m.  We need your help with planning activities to support our students and school.

    The first School Site Council meeting of 2018-2019 will be held on Wednesday, September 12, 2018, at 4:00 p.m.  We invite all interested parents/guardians, students and community members to join us in this important work to support teaching and learning for our school community. The meeting will take place at Mission College in the Gillmor Building on the 3rd floor, Room 328.

    Parents, teachers, staff, students, family members and community...We invite all of you to join the MECHS Parent Teacher Student Association! 

    Joining PTSA is a terrific way to show your support to MECHS! puts you on the email distribution list to learn first hand about school volunteer opportunities!

    Did you know that the PTSA provides the following services?.... Scholarships for seniors, Reflections art program, staff appreciation luncheons, summer office assistance, and more!

    Membership dues are $10 per person.

    We would like to invite all MECHS parents and guardians to register with schoolloop.  The site allows you to communicate easily with all staff and also provides you the opportunity to opt in for receiving daily emails of what is going on in your student's high school classes. To get started, make sure your student has already registered for schoolloop.  You will need to have your child's student i.d. number in order to register. 

    Start by clicking 'I Want To' located in the header at the top of this page on the right hand side.  In the drop down menu, click the 'Register For Schoolloop' option to the left, then click 'Parent Registration' and complete the requested information.  Once an administrator has confirmed you as the parent/guardian of the student, you will have access to school loop and school contact options. Please allow up to 48 hours for confirmation of your registration.



    About Us

    Mission Early College High School is an innovative dual enrollment program that blends high school and college, and provides students an exceptional opportunity to earn a high school diploma and up to two years of college credit or an Associate's Degree in three years or less. Students take three high school classes taught by SCUSD instructors on the Mission College campus, and up to 15 units of college classes each semester with all tuition fees waived by Mission College. Students pay only a nominal health fee of $20 each semester.

    This outstanding achievement was accomplished through the participation of our entire learning community - our parents, students, and staff.  The visiting committee recognized the great work being done by MECHS to provide an excellent education and pathway for our students to be college and career ready upon graduation.
